Day 38 - Rest Day in Indianapolis

Slept in! Had a leisurely, lazy breakfast. Did some laundry. Headed downtown for lunch and some errands. Saw a wall of water headed towards us and ran for cover. Waited beneath an underpass while rain came down in buckets. Eventually carried on towards the convention center. 

Once inside we discovered the beauty of the skywalk! Got lunch, Starbucks, postcards, and wandered around the mall without ever getting wet. 

We were back to within about 2 blocks of the motel before we had to leave it. Back at the motel we puttered away a couple of hours, then it was time for dinner. Love those days off. :) We walked back to downtown with Patty and found an Indian restaurant. Had some great chicken patia which was chicken cooked in a sweet and sour mango sauce. Lovely end to the day, nice walk back to the motel, and then bed. :)
