Day 12 - Rest Day SLC

Rest Day! After 11 consecutive days of riding everyone was ready for this. 859 miles of fun! I was looking forward to two nights at the same motel and not having to pack everything up in the morning. Also the chance to do laundry - not by hand - and have it all dry before I packed. AND see my family and friends in Utah!

I was awake early of course so got up and did my laundry at like 6:00. Had a leisurely breakfast, sat around a bit. My parents picked me up a little before 11 and we went to a cycling shop to pick up a few items and then on to a park to meet everyone else. Had a great time visiting with those who were able to come. Back at the motel there was time for a short rest, some writing, a nice dinner, and then to bed!

Somehow we let most of the Kellers escape without a photo but it was fun to see them as well. I know others would have liked to come but couldn't make it. I appreciate knowing I am loved!
